Online Guitar Lessons
Mark Anthony McGrath (M.Mus., L.R.S.M.,L.T.C.L.}is a professional guitarist/arranger/composer with more than 20 years experience of teaching and arranging for guitar.
Mark has recently returned to the Kilkenny area after 10 years as a full-time Guitar Instructor to Dundee and Angus schools in Scotland where he prepared guitar students in all styles for schools' state examinations.
Lessons are offered in guitar and ukulele in all styles e.g.popular songs, classical, rock, folk, traditional and guitar arranging. Mark will teach individuals and groups of all ages and experiences from beginners to professional diploma level in Kilkenny/Thomastown/South Kilkenny and Waterford areas. Lessons in Kilkenny city are held primarily at the Clubhouse Hotel .
Mark will also teach individuals and groups in the students home or in local halls and community halls throughout the area.
Mark has developed an individual approach to teaching guitar using proper playing techniques but incorporating an accessible approach which guarantees almost instant results.You Tube and Spotify etc. are used where appropriate e.g. to play/practise along with tracks.
Many of his students have gone on to study music in third level institutions and have become professional musicians in a number of musical genres..
